A well-known Northland tourist town is facing a legal battle. The owners of a Bayfield bed and breakfast say a newly adopted ordinance is unconstitutional.
The ordinance requires B&B owners to live principally in Bayfield. A suit filed against the city claims this is unfair.
Oh, and the best part. Mayor Larry MacDonald owns a B&B and actually says that he has no conflict of interest! Also, others on the coucil have ownership stakes in various B&B's.
