I'm at Crossroads Barbecue in Grand Ledge, Michigan, attempting their undefeated Chopping Block BBQ Challenge. This monster food challenge features 7 pounds total! One rack of BBQ ribs, 12 chicken wings, 1 pound of beef brisket, 1 pound of pulled pork, 1 pound of sausage, and a side of fries. I only have 60 minutes to finish everything. If I lose, I pay $75 for this massive BBQ platter. If I win, I get the meal free, a t-shirt, and my spot on their Wall of Fame.
This is the kickoff to my international food challenge tour, and I'm hoping to start strong by becoming one of the few to conquer this Michigan BBQ gauntlet!
