BATTLEFIELD HARDLINE DELAYED TO 2015

It seems like EA has finally learned from their mistakes. In a blogpost by DICE's very own Karl-Magnus Troedsson they announced that the launch of the upcoming Battlefield Hardline will be postponed to 2015. When the beta of Hardline launched right after its E3 reveal, many fans have been giving feedback to the team at Visceral Games. This feedback helps the team to create a better, more improved version of Hardline but to do so they're going to need more time.

There are a few things the crew will be able to accomplish with the new timing:

An improved multiplayer. According to reports the multiplayer component of Hardline will evolve the cops and criminals fantasy into a truly unique Battlefield experience.

In true fashion, Visceral likes to spend most of their time on the singleplayer of the game. They'll be adding new core features as well as polishing existing ones. This will support a deeper "crime revenge" story experience.

Last but certainly not least; stability. Needless to say the team aims for a more stable launch than Battlefield 4. More time allows them to surface issues that they can attempt to fix prior to launch.
DICE lets us know that they will not give up on Battlefield 4 and they'll continue to explore new opportunities for improvements.
