BF6 CP may not be the whole problem. After the response to my first CP discussion, we're going deeper into the systems underneath it: input integrity, controller vs M&K matchmaking, Cronus/XIM/Titan-style input spoofing, desync, high-ping matchmaking, regional server placement, bots, persistent lobbies, backfill & BF6's upcoming Server Browser changes.
We also look at how R6S separates console controller players from its mixed PC-and-console pool, how BF6 REDSEC Ranked already separates matchmaking based on squad platform composition & why those systems matter when discussing player choice and competitive integrity.
With BF Studios investigating high-ping matches & bot-heavy matchmaking, plus a more persistent Server Browser & match flow planned for Season 5, the real question may no longer be whether CP should simply be ON or OFF. It may be whether BF6 can provide trustworthy input classification, better matchmaking, healthier servers & meaningful player choice without fragmenting the population.
What actually needs fixing: CP, input integrity, matchmaking, servers, desync, or the way all of those systems interact?
