Some examples of things you can do while firing a weapon in Battlefield 6 that lets you get away with stuff you probably shouldn't be able to get away with or at least that is what it feels like to me. It seems like there is an expectation now that you should be able to do literally anything while firing or even while ADS and firing. For me it looks and feels silly and takes me out of the game. Jumping around and firing reminds me of Quake, jumping around and firing while ADS reminds me of COD. Yes Battlefield isn't a MilSim and it never has been and while it has always been an arcade shooter there were always some parts of the game that were kept grounded. Movement was one of those things in previous Battlefield games ( while they were still supported... ) but now that we've lost that and have beamy weapons it doesn't really feel grounded anymore and it feels like it lost some of the uniqueness or what made it different from all the other FPS multiplayer games out there. Even in some previous Battlefield games you couldn't shoot while vaulting and we should be thankful for that because we all know how buggy player hitboxes can be while vaulting or performing most movement mechanics in the Frostbite engine version of Battlefield games.

A lot of recent FPS multiplayer games have been going all in on giving tons of player choice or player freedom with things that probably shouldn't have that much freedom otherwise all those games end up blending together and looking or feeling the same ( Hi COD, Delta Force ). Some aspects or parts of games should have restrictions or limits to prevent that from happening. You can put in player choice elsewhere like skins for example and making it so you can apply the skin regardless of the weapon attachments or apply only parts of skins to certain attachments and mix and match them ( BF5 kind of did this ).

To the "oh you just want to go back to holding angles, etc.", that's fair. But I don't think preparation should be so easily bypassed or ignored just by jumping, sliding, or diving around a corner...on asphalt. Especially in a game with an ADS mechanic and ADS/zoom-in times that are slower than previous Battlefield games.
