A combination of drills, and sparring exercises using late renaissance battlefield weapons, specifically sword & shield, great swords, and polearms.
The emphasis is on the use of the weapons in formation and enmass, rather than one-on-one. This is one of six open training days that the AHF runs each year where all HEMA practitioners are welcome to come and participate.
