The Scottish war of Independence was a conflict fought between the kingdom of England and the Kingdom of Scotland as Edward the 1st of England sought to subjugate the kingdom.
With victory at Loudoun hill in 1307, King Robert of Scotland is now consolidating his power in the northern parts of Scotland and with the death of King Edward 1st of England, the Scots now look to make gains in the chaos.
