Well, it’s been 10 whole years since the polarizing release of Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice. Coming just three years after the equally as polarizing Man of Steel, audiences were hopeful this would be the course correction the DCEU needed in order to play ball with Marvel. While some will defend it until their last breath, crying out “misunderstood masterpiece”, others scoff at its mere existence, calling it an insult to these iconic characters. While I originally fell somewhere in the middle upon its debut, a self-proclaimed “Ultimate Edition” dropped some months later and changed just enough to win me over, so let’s talk about it.
