In this spoiler-free comic preview, I talk about why the return of Mark Waid and Chris Samnee has me excited, Waid’s ability to navigate Batman history, and Samnee’s beautiful art that captures the spirit of Golden Age superhero comics while maintaining a modern visual style.

If their previous Batman and Robin collaboration is any indication, this could be another classic.
