"Two Aliens"

Alien #1

I came to this planet
In search of a friend
An end to my longing
An end to my pain

At last from a distance
I could capture a rhyme
That would last for an Aeon
That would last for all time

But mankind it was captured
Its soul was annulled
So I returned to my planet
My task unfulfilled.

Alien #2

I live in your shadow
Yet beyond yonder star
Immortal invisible
Beyond the façade

No spacesuit, no saucer
No spacetime, no form
To never fear dying
I never was born

So look past the planets
And look past the moon
It’s all an old movie
A Disney cartoon.
