Basic cabinet construction techniques get enhancements that turn this bath vanity into a beautiful piece of furniture. In this video series, we "plus up" a basic cabinet design with many new design elements and construction techniques.

In Part 4 Steve builds the decorative end panel for the larger base cabinet. The panel is built from maple and walnut using tongue and groove construction techniques to make tight-fitting joints. The router table is used for all joinery. The panel reflects the future look of the face frame, doors and raised panels on the front of the cabinet while still maintaining a flat profile.

Precise measurements are the key to successfully building this panel, and the video includes several tips and tricks that can be used in many other projects. Also see some tips for gluing up solid panels!
