RingRush | Baten Kaitos Origins Speedrun - Segment 6 @RingRush | Uploaded May 2009 | Updated October 2024, 15 hours ago.
My sixth segment for my speedrun of Baten Kaitos Origins.
First off, I'd like to thank Vorpal Edge. I had a run that saved at 45:27, with 1337 TP, and I was planning on keeping it, even though my best time at the time was 45:16 (with 600 TP). He peruaded me not to, and thank god. Look at what came out of it.
I had some really great battles in this, and just barely scraped out enough TP for a class up. Usually, relay combos aren't worth it, but I absolutely need to hit class 7 before the Nasca arma battle or I'll start losing a lot of time. Any TP after that, while helpful, isn't worth wasting time for. If anybody knows exactly how much TP it is till class 7, that would be really helpful.
The overexhasution at the start didn't cost any time, and in fact means perfect optimization of the heatwing dash. When I let Giacomo's dialogue run, that also didn't cost any time, as he had to complete the walking animation anyways. I had just been called in for dinner, and I had to run to the intercom and ask for five more minutes, so I was super lucky that I happened to be at that part in the segment.
