I visited last time in 2017.
You will normally start from Puerto Princesa City or Sabang, about one and a half hours on the highway, then going into the jungle for about 45min - 1 hour of walking.
In the dry season (about March-Mai) you might be able to cross the river with a motorbike.
In the rainy season (July - November) it might not be possible to cross the river at all...
But it changes from day to day, Rosendo will know he's living there.
