Skyworld/Welkin grows, with some more rhythmic and melodic 16bit breaks! I spent a lot of time on this one (and the artwork with it). This is the closest I've been to 16bit FM purity, I think. I'm not exactly going for it, but I ended up only using 16bit samples and FM synths in this one.

The track is very 80s new wave / Japanese arcade inspired, using a lot of FM synthesis, pads and chunky reverberated drums.
It shares some traits with other tracks Ive made, like “Grid Voyage”, “Final Battle” and “Village Up North”. I also went the extra mile with the video for the occasion, programming a more detailed animation! (The render failed twice, but 80 hours later, here it is at last)
