The Philadelphia Orchestra turns 125 on Sunday, November 16! To celebrate, we asked musicians and staff to share some of their favorite Orchestra memories with us. Bass trombonist Blair Bollinger first heard the Orchestra in 1981 when he was in town auditioning for the Curtis Institute of Music. As Blair puts it, he “never got far in this business, just a few blocks down the street!”
