Hey, you probably need to tune your bass. Click on this video and do it in less than a minute.
4-string Bass Tuning Instructions:
- Pluck your open E string and try to match the sound by turning the tuning peg on the headstock
- If you’re not sure whether to tighten the string (raises the sound) or loosen it (lowers the sound), start by loosening til the string feels a bit floppy
- Then tighten the string as you pluck until the sound matches
- When you get close you’ll hear a ‘wobble’ between the notes - make very small turns until the wobble slows down and disappears
- Rinse and repeat with the A, D, and G strings
