Basketball champ Alex Caruso teamed up with Instacart to surprise this LA family with their grocery delivery–and $5,000 in Instacart credit. The Hernandez family spends all their free time volunteering and they don't always have time to take care of themselves, so they use Instacart's same-day delivery to help them get the groceries and household essentials they need.

Instacart is committed to giving back to local communities, especially as so many have grappled with the impact of COVID-19. Through the company's #GiveFromTheCart program, Instacart donated 5.5 million meals to communities in need in 2020 and looks forward to doing more this year.
