This course will cover the basics of electric fireplaces, including types, installation options, aesthetics, comfort, energy use, and safety concerns. The goal of the course is to educate attendees on how electric fireplaces can be a great alternative to combustion fireplaces. We will have a short discussion at the start about concerns about combustion-based fireplaces and how to address them.

Speaker

Carl Brekjern is a longtime resident of Montana. He resides in Missoula where he enjoys hiking, skiing, golfing or just relaxing at home. He is the Owner of Crackle Fireplaces, an online retailer of premium home products. He attended the University of Montana and earned a degree in Marketing. He has been working in the electric fireplace industry since 2020.
