This video demonstrates multiple linear regression using RStudio using fictional data. I begin by demonstrating how to import data from an SPSS data file into RStudio and then proceed to examine the structure of the data. Next, I perform multiple regression analysis both with and without factor variables. I illustrate how to change the reference level on dummy coded variables and also how to perform a test of the change in R-square to test the omnibus effect of a factor variable on the dependent variable. I also illustrate functions associated with the lm.beta and jtools packages.
