We’re going to be working with the whole chapter of Mark, because this last story is the climax of what Mark has been building up to. In order to truly see, you will have to lose sight of some things, by turning your eyes to something else.
The backdrop is Jesus walking on a journey, with crowds of people gathering around Him wherever He went, and Jesus teaching them. By the time we get to the end of the chapter, we realize this is Jesus’ final journey to Jerusalem.
