What has always made the Barther Metal Open Air special wasn't just the atmosphere of the venue - situated right in the town park and practically on the Baltic coast - it was, above all, the proximity to the Baltic states and our comrades in the East. Not only were the bands like "Flak'n'Roll" heavyweights Loits present, but so were bands from the Tarbathian scene and the Warhorn Records roster.
