A viewer sent me his 3Dfx Voodoo Graphics board, which exhibits vertical strips or bars and fails to produce any video output. He also provided a thermal image showing one of the memory chips overheating. He replaced the chip, but even though the hotspot is now gone, the card still doesn't work. Let's troubleshoot the card and see if we can figure out what is wrong with it.
