Robert E Fuller | Barn Owl Stakes Nest Claim | Discover Wildlife | Robert E Fuller @RobertEFuller | Uploaded 6 months ago | Updated 8 hours ago
Shortly after this new barn owl was spotted courting a female in Ash Wood, he began scraping out a potential hollow for eggs in my Ash Tree nest box.
This is a sign that this male is keen to start nesting and could mean we have a new pair to watch this season. However, this could also mean trouble since Ash Tree is a favourite of the tawny owl pair Bonnie & Ozzy.... keep your eye on the livescreens to see what happens youtube.com/playlist?list=PLx09JDaWUEFPocIUijCjOMU5rY8a_QugD&si=Yy9nmOelo4f2x1R2
Date filmed: 27/03/2024
