I’m here singing at the Grand Hotel for 6 weeks and after working on “Dindi” and “I Wish You Love” (except the original French, “que reste-t-il de nos amour”) I realized that if I played my cards right, I could sing in 4 languages in 1 night! But the two songs I mentioned were too similar to play in the same night, so I needed a new French song. So I finally learned (or started learning) this beauty! And last night, I got to perform in 4 languages. Immediately after, I realized I should have learned something in Italian as well. I’ll add that to my to-do list when I come back in August (and perhaps try to learn the German lyrics to Beer Barrel Polka to really reach for the stars).
