Our second World Cruise stop was Barcelona, Spain. We visited the Gothic Quarter - Barri Gotic, the medieval centre and my favourite part of Barcelona. We visit the Cathedral of the Holy Cross and St. Eulalia from the 13th to the 15th centuries. Just the walk to the cathedral was stunning. We then walked outside the famous Antoni Gaudi church Sagrada Familia, We saw both facades, The Passion Facade, the Nativity Facade and even the unfinished Glory Facade. We see eight of the planned 18 towers. The facades are incredibly intricate and stunning. This basilica is the largest unfinished catholic church in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
