‘Variety’ is reporting that the sequel to ‘Barbie’ might fall through because of budget issues. According to sources speaking to ‘Variety,’ Ryan Gosling is allegedly asking for $20 million, and Warner Brothers doesn’t want to pay up. The original movie grossed $1.4 billion at the box office, and Warner Brothers only has four months to lock in a sequel before the rights revert to Mattel. Does knowing all this ruin the magic of ‘Barbie?’
