Review & Teardown of the new Mahlkönig (Baratza) Vario W+ coffee grinder. This is a model-refresh with important changes. First, I consider aesthetics, the user experience, grind performance, and coffee flavor -- making espresso and pourover, using both the ceramic burrs and the steel ones, to see how they differ. Then I perform a full teardown and evaluate the component quality and mechanical design.
