A woman grieving the recent loss of her sister begins to experience unsettling visions — fragments of the past that blur into ominous echoes of the future.
Banshee is a tense and atmospheric drama-suspense short that explores mourning through the lens of psychological unease. As memory and reality intertwine, grief becomes something almost supernatural — a presence that lingers, whispers, and refuses to be quiet.
Balancing ambiguity with immersive sound design, Banshee unfolds as a slow-burn ghost story of the mind, where what haunts us may not be spirits, but the weight of what was left unsaid.

Director’s Statement:
Banshee started off life as something completely different, it was originally intended to be shot, edited and locked as part of the 'Sci-Fi London 48 Hour Film Challenge'. We completed the film within that time frame but I made something closer in spirit to a horror film. I then worked with my editor Ben and sound mixer / composer James to ensure the story fit the horror genre. The final version you're watching today is the result of hard work from my editor and sound designer and I am really excited for you all to see it.
