On November 21, 2024, officers were dispatched to a Fifth Third Bank after receiving reports of a fraud in progress. According to dispatch, a woman was attempting to withdraw $4,000 from an account that bank personnel believed didn’t belong to her. What began as a routine call quickly escalated into something more serious.
