A few community members and I were wondering how many Jiggy dances you could skip in the entirety of Banjo-Kazooie. It turns out, you can skip all of them now. This was the only one you couldn't skip at the time, so I figured out this method to skip the dance.
The first jiggy is the only jiggy RTA that is currently impossible to skip the dance. It starts a cutscene, so we can't save and quit to skip it.
Sorry for the low quality, didn't realize this output to .mkv. I'm away for winter break, and I'm using my personal laptop for computer stuff currently.

![[Former WR] Banjo-Kazooie Any% No FFM Speedrun in 1:03:19 (First 1:03!)
[What is FFM?]
FFM stands for Furnace Fun Moves, a glitch that allows you to store moves from one file to another before the run starts. Once you enter Mumbos Mountain, you will have all the moves unlocked from the previous file. This glitch saves about 2 minutes in both the 100% and Any% categories. This glitch is banned in this category and instead we unlock all moves from their intended locations.
[Summary]
Finally a decent run of this category. My early game was a lot better but ironically my last PB had a good BGS but this one was pretty bad since I missed a hut jump. Not too many major mistakes just a lot of movement related stuff that I can work on. Definitely still going for the 1:02 to end off my grind of this category.

![Banjo-Kazooie Any% No POG Speedrun in 54:15 [WORLD RECORD TIE]
[What is POG?]
POG stands for Pause Overlap Glitch, an Xbox exclusive glitch that allows the player to use the pause menu when the game isnt paused. Combined with other glitches, POG can be used to duplicate notes, shortening the Any% category to only collect around 300 notes instead of the 810 notes needed to open the final door.
[Summary]
Wow, ended up beating the record by half a second. Because the leaderboard doesnt count milliseconds, its considered a tie, but technically this is the current definitive record. For the run itself, it was pretty decent albeit a lot of tiny mistakes that added up to pretty big time loss. My golds suck compared to Treps so I have a ton of time save still to achieve. Sucks that it wasnt the 53 (my goal time) but Im hoping with some more grinding I can achieve that time and move on. Would love to see it lower than a 53, but with how up in the air the current route timings are, I would like to see the route more optimized before getting a 52.
