Journey from Bangkok to Siem Reap by Bus + First Impressions
Hey everyone! Join Sinead and I as we travel from Bangkok to Siem Reap, Cambodia, with Giant Ibis Bus Company. They really took care of us, making the journey super comfortable and hassle-free.
Bangkok to Siem Reap with Giant Ibis
Our journey was smooth and cozy, thanks to Giant Ibis. They even sorted out our visas! The visa on arrival was $30, and for an extra $10, they handled all the paperwork for us – no photo needed.
Arriving in Siem Reap
When we arrived, tuk-tuk drivers were ready to offer us rides to our accommodations. They accepted Thai Baht, English Pounds, US Dollars, Australian Dollars, or Euros, which made things really convenient.
Accommodation Mishap
Unfortunately, when I got to my booked hostel, 'The Big Easy' I found out it had shut down two nights ago! Thankfully, Sinead's hotel had a spare room, so I stayed there.
First Impressions of Siem Reap
My first impressions of Siem Reap are really positive. I'm planning to stay for a while and will do more in-depth videos of the area soon.
