In May 2015, WAMU 88.5's Bandwidth.fm toured the in-progress Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture with punk-rock pioneers Death. The trio had traveled to Washington, D.C., to play a gig and explore the museum's permanent collection, to which they had donated several items from their own remarkable history. The band ended the day with a blistering live set at the Black Cat, with WAMU and the Wilderness Bureau crew on hand to capture some choice moments.
