Ascend: Hand of Kul is a hack 'n' slash MMORPG developed by Signal Studios and published by Microsoft Studios for the Xbox 360. Ascend is a Free 2 Play MMO game with a twist: no direct Player vs. Player combat, something that MMO games are often ruined by. The game features microtransactions, though these are not stressed upon the player and the game never really advertises super high-level uber-weapons during gameplay, which is nice.
