I know, it's a completly random thing here. But those one are just delicious!
Also a great thing with this recipe is that the pastry is quite thick, so the chocolate chips won't drop to the bottom while baking.
-250g / 0.550lb / 8.82oz of flour
-60g / 0.130lb / 2.1oz of wholewheat flour
-1 individual baking powder packet
-150g / 0.330lb / 5.29oz of brown sugar
-60g / 0.130lb / 2.1oz of butter
-2 ripe bananas (medium sized)
-2 eggs
-20cl / 5.28 gal (US) of milk
-150g / 0.330lb / 5.29oz of chocolate chips
If you can't find some wholewheat flour, you can use black wheat flour, or mix flour with hazelnut powder (fifty-fifty). Same for the brown sugar (a.k.a. muscovado sugar): use 125g / 0.275lb / 4.41oz of sugar, and complete with some caramel.
Mix the flours, baking powder, and sugar together in a bowl (not the caramel if you pick that).
While the butter is melting, crush/mix the bananas in a bowl or just use a blender.
Mix the melted butter, bananas, eggs, and milk (and caramel) together. Then add the flour with sugar while stiring (gently please).
Add the chocolate chips when the pastry looks homogeneous.
Grease the pans / tins, and filled them with the pastry.
Put them in the oven at 180°C / 360°F for 25 - 30 minutes (a bit more in an electric oven).
Et voilà!
