There is a terrible new development in Medievalism. A push from far-left activists to completely ban the use of the word Anglo-Saxon.
It started with grievance monger Rambaran-Olm complaining that Anglo-Saxon is exclusionary and that AS studies are too white. Mary Rambaran-Olm calls herself "Axel Folio" on Twitter and uses that platform almost exclusively for inciting racial hatred against white Europeans and people of European descent. Her blogs and complaints resulted in the International Society of Anglo-Saxonists (ISAS) agreeing to change its name to the International Society for the Study of Medieval England (but for some reason they still use the old acronym ISAS). Other agitators include Eric Wade - a shameless liar, who responded to this stream with a desperate series of slanders against me, and the professional grievance monger Dorothy Kim who claims to be a medievalist but only ever seems to talk about racism and colonialism.
