Well… I’ve officially been bullied on the internet. A stranger called me a “sh!t and a shill” because I said I liked a piece of 3D printing furniture. Which is a sentence that shouldn’t exist, but here we are.

So in this video I’m taking a proper look at the BQ Panda Station — a printer stand / storage system made for Bambu Lab-style machines (I’m using it with my H2 series printers). I first spotted it at RepRap / 3D Printopia and instantly thought: this could actually fix a bunch of the chaos in my studio.

The main thing everyone asks is simple:

Is it actually stable enough for fast CoreXY printing… or does it wobble around like a shopping trolley?

I break down exactly how the stability works, because it’s not just “is it metal?” — it’s the combination of printer rubber feet + frame rigidity + caster design + leveling feet. If you leave it on the wheels, yes, you can get movement. But once you wind the leveling feet down and unload the casters, it becomes properly planted and predictable.

What I cover in the video

The difference between the “naked” (open frame) Panda Station and the enclosed version

Why the upgrade path is actually decent (you can convert later instead of rebuying everything)

Mobility vs stability — how it can roll when you want, and lock down when you print

Storage that actually makes sense, especially if you use Gridfinity

AMS routing for cables and PTFE, plus how you can store filament / even AMS units inside

The optional RGB / lighting kit (because of course there’s RGB)

Real world space planning — height adds up fast once you’ve got printer + AMS stacked

Pricing, kits, and why it works for me when you’ve got multiple printers in one room

I also compare it to a more traditional setup (like a big tool cabinet / workbench) and why I ended up preferring something modular. For me the biggest win is being able to deal with printers individually — move one, service one, clean behind one — without having to shift an entire bench setup.

If you’ve been looking for a BQ Panda Station review, a Bambu Lab printer stand, or you’re trying to sort out wobble / vibration on a fast printer setup, this should help.

As always — questions are welcome… just maybe start with the question next time 😅
