Bambu Lab have taken the simple formula that made the A1 so popular… and made it bigger. But is the Bambu Lab A2L actually a next-generation machine, or just a stretched-out A1 with a bigger print bed? Please note this video was put into production long before the more recent Bambu Drama, with each video there is a lot of time and effort and more that just me to think about, so putting the video out as filmed is the move I have chosen to take. *note this video was shot before the drama, my aim is always to give the viewer a open review of my experience with the printer.

In this full Bambu A2L review, I test the new large-format A-series printer, multi-colour printing with AMS compatibility, real-world print quality, the cutting and pen modules, and whether this “creative playground” concept actually makes sense.

This isn’t just a specs readout. We look at what matters:
✔ Large-format 3D printing
✔ AMS / AMS 2 / AMS Lite compatibility
✔ Multi-colour printing
✔ Blade cutting & pen plotting
✔ Camera quality (spoiler: nope)
✔ Filament waste
✔ Real print quality
✔ Whether the A2L is worth buying

The A1 made 3D printing feel easy.

The question is…

Does bigger actually make it better?
