"Ballade pour Adeline" (French for "Ballad for Adeline") is a 1977 instrumental ballade recorded on piano by Richard Clayderman and composed by Paul de Senneville. Paul de Senneville composed the piece as a tribute to his newborn daughter, Adeline. As of 2020, worldwide sales of the recording have reached 22 million copies in 38 countries and It remains Clayderman's signature hit.
It's a song I've played in the past, but not properly. This time, I sat and listened to all the notes and phrasings, and especially the run up the keyboard between the chorus and verse. This is played in the written key of C and is relatively easy to play. I hope you enjoy it.
