Orca lore: The rendition we did of Windfish was the song that inspired us to start our band, OrcaMind! It was the first time we wrote lyrics together.
This was the first song of our set, and the most people we've ever played live in front of, in person and on twitch! On the stream, there were 8K people watching.. oh my. There was also a giant countdown timer going from 30 minutes to 0, which added to the nerves! But we practice our tails off for shows like this and it was really fun. The compartmentalization that took place to try not to think about that, especially during this first song!!!
