Story:
On the eve of the Battle of Kaer Morhen, Lambert finally tells fellow witcher Geralt his story. An abusive father, a desperate mother, and a day when things were almost brilliant- a day that was almost the best of his life. When a witcher saved Lambert's father, this all collapsed, and the young boy found himself pawned off as payment, tossed into rigorous training and torture. Bitter to the core, he lost his sense of self-preservation and gained a reputation for brutality and cruelness.
Lambert, refusing to heed the word of his elders or accept assistance from his allies, fought and died bravely as the keep crumbled around him.
His funeral, alongside that of Vesemir's, left Geralt feeling more disconnected than a death had in a long time.
