Lake Bohinj is the larger, less touristy cousin of Bled, but by no means less beautiful. While Bled may have the island, Bohinj has AMAZING views of the mountains foregrounded by crystal-clear, intensely emerald waters. It is far less developed than Bled, so make sure to bring plenty of water, but there is a restaurant just over halfway through the walk, going counter-clockwise.
