Balenciaga has taken full responsibility for Balenciaga's Spring 2023 ad campaign which featured BDSM teddy bears being held by children in the Balenciaga ads. Also the Balenciaga ads featured the Balenciaga iconic hourglass handbag sitting on top of some court documents from a case involving CP from the Supreme Court. The Balenciaga teddy bear ads and the others caused such outrage that Kim Kardashian posted that she was reconsidering her work with Balenciaga due to the inappropriate depiction of children in the Balenciaga Ads. Balenciaga now has dismissed its lawsuit against the company which designed the ads. Balenciaga tried to "pass the buck" and make the designers the scapegoats but now it appears that Balenciaga has put on its big person pants and is accepting responsibility. Balenciaga pulled the teddy bear ad campaign and apologized. Kim Kardashian says she accepts Balenciaga's apology.
