Skipped some surrounding optional areas (about 4 hours, deleted file by mistake), doing most of the remaining ones here.
In next playthrough - 5 - back to the story.
Unfortunately there seemed to be a bag of holding dupe bug.
Gotten additional anelhag armor due to that, as a precaution to my armors breaking again (not really an upgrade).
A lot of Anekhag ended the gold deficiency once and for all.
Duped potions I sold to get rid of them. Gold ceased to be any issue by that point of the game.
I hope that transition to BG2 will remove it all :)
