This video was shot remotely using a PTZ camera affixed to the rooftop of @SassePhoto’s home near West Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada.
The osprey haven’t been seen for weeks and it’s believed they’ve migrated to another location. It’s believed their young died after three days of extreme heat near the end of June.
Many raptors were seen flying in the thermals around the nest today. And here we see a bald eagle in the osprey nest. At one point, the eagle moves some of the sticks that form the nest. Do you think the eagle will take over the test and live here?
