Heading West of Calgary Alberta, I explore the towns of Standard, Rockyford and Rosebud where they specialize in railways, rodeos and live theater.
Then I hit the badlands of Horseshoe Canyon, the ghost towns of Wayne with it's historic saloon and Dorothy along with the old Atlas Coal mine site and the East Coulee museum.
I check out local campgrounds, hiking trails, museums and a location from the film Ghostbusters Afterlife.
Prairie towns are loaded with character and things to explore.
The trip ends with a ride on the Finnegan ferry across the Red Deer river.
Alberta is much more than the Rocky Mountains.
