UW–Madison students step beyond campus through Badger Volunteers, fixing bikes for kids, supporting food pantries, and building meaningful friendships across the community. Part of the Morgridge Center for Public Service, the long-running program has grown from just a handful of volunteers into a network contributing hundreds of thousands of service hours. For many students, it’s more than volunteering, it’s where they find purpose, connection, and a sense of something bigger than themselves.
