Here are some different ways of going in reverse using driving wheels. The first strategy is the most intuitive. I use the pig and King Pig as gears to reverse the turning direction given by the drive wheels. The other strategies are based on the "bootstrap" technique, which exploits a gap in the game engine with respect to Newton's 3rd Law. An explanation of this effect is offered here:
