When I walked through that door,
I knew something was wrong,
A grim, heavy haze hung in the air,
I knew something was going on.
Looking from face to face,
I felt a collective sense of guilt,
These assholes were up to something,
And I was gonna find out what.

From their furtive glances,
To the odd lighting,
Everything was suspicious,
I was convinced there was something they were hiding.
I shone my torchlight,
Into each of their eyeballs,
Trying to discern the truth,
In the blackness of their pupils.

The room was thick with questions and thin with answers,
You could have heard a pin drop,

The scene had an appearance of innocence,
