Here it is.
Was originally gonna host this on the 25th but I think it would be wiser to host this closer to the weekend. Plus it’s Chester Bennington’s birthday today.
Faint is a MAP (Multiple Animator Project or the good kind of MAP) centered around fictional characters that you resonate with on a personal level. Can be a kin, a comfort character, or one that you just find yourself relating to. Before applying, there are some rules about this project that must be followed.
-This map has a strict color palette and style that must be followed. The guidelines are located here. Other than that, this is a sketch map, so your part doesn’t need to look like a masterpiece.
-Another requirement is the use of black side bars on the screen. The bars can be horizontal or vertical, characters can be inside or outside them, they can be static or they can move. An example of what I’m going for is this map. youtu.be/8PCLiz_21u8?si=rg22v4765iqDEKHc

-Discord is a must just so I have an efficient way of keeping contact with you guys, however if you don’t have discord but still want to participate, please keep in touch with me in the comments of this video. discord.gg/SMp3tGt5ZT
- This map has a strict 1 week deadline personal to each participant. So please take that into consideration before applying. However I understand that life gets in the way sometimes so if you have any complications I am more than welcome to give extensions.
-One thing I will NOT tolerate is ghosting or refusing to update for long periods. It is not the most respectful thing to do to your host and will result in a warning and a drop within a days notice. Communication should be paramount.
-Basic MAP rules include no tracing or use of bases in stuff like gacha life or anything else. No stealing other’s work. No fake parts.

-The main theme of the map is general frustration and angst, with a ton of raw emotion especially in the screaming parts, and this map can be used as an outlet for venting said frustration.
-Blood is allowed and so is gore, as long as it’s not too graphic. (Like spilled entrails or something like that) however I do understand that these themes can be an integral part of the media you’re using. I’ll let you know if something is too over the top, and will of course add a content warning at the beginning of the map. Sexual themes aren’t allowed at all considering that minors may join or view the project.
-You must be 13+ to join
-2 parts max but since there’s only 17 parts, I may only give you one part depending on how competitive the map becomes when handing out parts.
-No lyrics
-AMV, tweening or slideshows are all allowed as long as you can make your personal deadline and there’s no still images.
-This is completely fandom oriented so no OCs or fan OCs
BLACKLIST
The main things I’m blacklisting are DSMP or any other SMP, anything by Vivziepop including Hazbin and Helluva Boss, South Park, and any RPF (Real person fiction) or biopics.
I’m also including Warriors since there’s more than enough MAPs dedicated to the series.
Other than that, if anything raises concerns, I’ll let you know if what you choose to animate will be unsuitable for the map.
Your code is the character you’ll use and what fandom they’re from.
2nd optional code is your favorite Linkin Park song. (If you don’t have one just put your favorite song in general)
