I finally watched BACKROOMS, and I was not prepared for how unsettling this film would be.
Set in 1990, the story follows Clark, a struggling furniture store owner whose life is already falling apart after the collapse of his marriage. But everything changes when he discovers a mysterious glowing gap hidden behind his basement wall. What begins as a strange anomaly quickly spirals into a terrifying descent into the endless, yellow, liminal nightmare known as the Backrooms, where reality itself starts to unravel.
